Your home should give you rest, not another job.
You've tried the weekend purges, the storage bins and the sprays for every surface. It isn't you. Dutch homes don't stay calm because the Dutch try harder. They stay calm because of a few small habits, done in the right order.

Welcome to my home.
I grew up in a small town near Utrecht. I spent much of my childhood at my grandmother's house, a few streets away. My oma was not rich, and she was not a neat freak. But you could sit down anywhere, you could always find the scissors, and she never seemed to be cleaning, even though her house was always clean.
Only much later did I understand that she followed a handful of simple rules, the same ones most Dutch families follow without thinking about them. Her first rule is the one I still hear every time I carry something new into my house:
If something doesn't have a home, it doesn't come into the house.

Three Dutch habits you can start tonight.
Everything has a place
Tidy isn't something you do on Saturday. It's what happens when every object has one fixed place and goes back there after use.
Air and light
Dutch people open their windows, even in winter. Ten minutes of fresh air in the morning, and the house feels new again.
Careful, not cheap
My grandmother spent good money on a coat that lasted fifteen years. She refused to spend it on things that didn't matter to her.
36 more Dutch habits, and the 30-day plan to make them stick, are waiting in Book 1.
One small job a day. Thirty days to a calmer, cheaper home.
No weekend makeover, no new storage boxes, and nothing you love has to go. About twenty minutes a day, in the order that makes it last.

Which book should I start with?
If clutter and spending bother you most, start with The Dutch Method, the 30-day plan. If cleaning takes too much of your time, start with The Dutch Cleaning Method. If you want both a calmer home and an easy way to keep it clean, the bundle gives you both for $32 instead of $41.
I'm not very technical. How do I get the books?
- Click a button on this page and pay, by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- You'll see a download button right away, and you'll get an email with the same link.
- Click it, and the book opens on your phone, tablet or computer. That's all.
Is the text easy to read, and can I print it?
Yes. The books use clear type and plenty of space, and you can zoom in on any device. You can print the whole book or only the printables, at home on ordinary letter paper, as often as you like.
Does it work in a big American home?
Yes. The habits come from small Dutch homes, but they work in any home, from an apartment to a family house with a garage. Bigger homes simply have more places where clutter can hide, and the plan helps you find them.
Can I cancel after buying?
Because the PDF is delivered immediately, you agree at checkout to immediate delivery, and the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once the download is available. If something goes wrong with your download, just reply to your delivery email and we'll help.
Two ways to spend the next 30 days.
Keep buying more storage boxes and more sprays, and keep losing weekends to a home that fills up again.
Twenty minutes a day with Oma's habits, and a home that stays tidy, clean and easy to live in.
